Itinerary

Day One, May 25 2027
Arrival

• Arrive in Caracas and transfer to the hotel.

• Spend the evening at leisure.

• Overnight in Caracas.
Day Two, May 26 2027
Drive to Choroni

• This morning we will depart for Choroni via Henri Pittier National Park.

• We will stop for lunch and visit the Museo Aeronáutico de Maracay and Joan Pujol’s tomb (MI5 WWII double agent known as “Garbo”) in Choroni.

• Afterwards, we will have time to explore the charming town of Choroni.

• Overnight stay at the posada in Choroni.
Day Three, May 27 2027
Attend Festival

• After breakfast, we will take a 30-minute boat ride to Cepe Beach where we will have lunch.

• Next we will take another 20-minute boat ride to Chuao and visit the Cocoa Plantation to learn about the process of making Chocolate.

• Later in the afternoon, we will participate in the vibrant Dancing Devils of Chuao & Corpus Christi Celebration.

• Overnight stay at a local posada in Chuao.
Day Four, May 28 2027
Colonia Tovar

• Depart Chuao and head to Colonia Tovar, the unique German village in the Venezuelan highlands.

• We will take the scenic drive through Henri Pittier National Park before visiting the birthplace of Simon Bolivar. We will then take in the spectacular views on the 6000 ft climb to the former German settlement of Colonia Tovar, visiting the craft and pottery centre and taking a short tour of the town.

• We will finish the day with drinks and a meal in a traditional German restaurant.

• Overnight in Colonia Tovar.
Day Five, May 29 2027
Caracas City Tour

• After breakfast, we will head to Caracas, where we will take a tour of the city, visiting key sites such as the Old Downtown, 23 de Enero, and the Chávez Mausoleum.

• Overnight in Caracas.
Day Six, May 30 2027
Canaima National Park

• After breakfast, we will take a flight from Caracas to Canaima National Park.

• We will explore the Canaima Lagoon area and visit Hacha, Wadaima, Ucaima, and Golondrina waterfalls.

• Next, we will trek through pink sandbanks and the jungle to Sapo Falls, where we can witness the views from behind the falls.

• In the evening we will check into a local posada, where we will stay overnight.
Day Seven, May 31 2027
Angel Falls Expedition

• This morning, we will take a motorized canoe ride up the Carrao and Churun rivers to reach the base of Angel Falls.

• Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the towering walls of Auyan Tepui, Wey Tepui, Devil’s Canyon, and Caiman Rock.

• We will end the day with dinner and relaxation in comfortable hammocks, accompanied by the soothing sounds of crickets.
Day Eight, Jun 1 2027
Angel Falls Expedition

• We will have breakfast at the camp with views of Angel Falls.

• Next, we will trek through the jungle (4 km) to the Laime viewpoint. If water levels permit, we will continue down to the rock pools near the waterfall’s base.

• We will then return to base camp via the same path and we will take a river journey back to Canaima Lagoon where we will check in at a local posada.
Day Nine, Jun 2 2027
Canaima Lagoon

• After breakfast and coffee at camp, enjoy a full day of relaxation at the scenic Canaima Lagoon beach and explore the nearby village.

• Overnight stay at a local posada.
Day Ten, Jun 3 2027
Return to Caracas

• After breakfast, we have free time in Canaima Lagoon village before our flight back to Caracas.

• Here we will visit Waraira Repano and the Ghost Cable Car Station.

• Overnight at hotel.
Day Eleven, Jun 4 2027
Tour Ends

• Here the tour ends, and transfer to the airport for onward flight.
