Day One Arrival into Juba
Arrive into Juba at 4pm. Upon arrival you will be met by your driver and transferred to the Royal Palace Hotel. After check in, your guide will meet you for a tour briefing and introduction to South Sudan. This evening, you will have dinner at Notos Lounge Bar & Grill. Overnight at Royal Palace Hotel.

Day Two Dinka Village
After breakfast, your guide will assist with your registration process. While this is underway, you will enjoy a guided tour of Juba’s most notable landmarks, including; Afex River Camp, where you can photograph the famous sunken ferry, Da Vinci Lodge for panoramic views of the historic Juba Bridge, St. Theresa Cathedral, the historic Post Office and Konyo Konyo market.
You will then depart Juba and journey to a traditional Dinka cattle camp, travelling through the scenic Badingilo National Park where there may be the opportunity to spot wildlife. En route, you will enjoy a local lunch in Mangalla Town. Upon arrival at the Dinka village you will immerse yourself in the daily life of the Dinka people, witnessing the rituals and traditions that revolve around their cattle and village culture. Overnight at the Dinka cattle camp/village.

Day Three Bor
After breakfast, you will depart for Bor, the historic town where South Sudan’s liberation struggle began in 1983. Upon arrival you will check into your accommodation and you’ll have some time to relax.
Later, you will enjoy a guided tour of Bor town, including visits to the local market and fish port along the Nile. Dinner and overnight will be at the Park Palace Hotel or similar hotel.

Day Four Nile River Tour
morning you will set out on a scenic morning boat excursion along the Nile River, passing through papyrus wetlands, rich with birdlife and fishing activity. Along the way you may spot fishermen navigating the river in canoes. The journey will take you to one or two remote Dinka fishermen’s islands, where you will gain firsthand insight into traditional fishing techniques and local methods used to preserve fish.
You will return to Bor for lunch and then begin your drive back to Juba. Overnight at Royal Palace Hotel.

Day Five Juba Tour
Following breakfast, you will continue with your sightseeing in Juba, visiting landmarks such as: The State House, Parliament buildings and the Phenicia Supermarket where you will experience a glimpse into modern daily life. Lunch will be at Comrades Restaurant.
After lunch, you will depart for the Mundari cattle camp. Upon arrival you will witness one of South Sudan’s most iconic cultural experiences as the Mundari people gather their long-horned Ankole cattle. You will spend the evening observing and photographing the rituals and traditions of the Mundari community. Dinner and overnight at the Mundari cattle camp.

Day Six Mundari camp
Today you will spend the full day with the Mundari Tribe, experiencing the unique lifestyle of the Mundari people. From cattle herding traditions to social gatherings and daily camp activities, the day will offer lots of opportunities for cultural immersion and photography. Depending on the movement of the cattle camp and time available, additional activities and interactions may be arranged while we wait for the cows to return to the cattle camp. Overnight at the Mundari cattle camp.

Day Seven Return to Juba
After spending one final morning with the Mundari community as the cattle are released for grazing, you’ll say farewell to camp life and begin your drive back to Juba. You’ll have the afternoon to visit the local craft market, where you can shop for souvenirs and traditional artwork. The rest of the evening is yours to spend at leisure. Overnight at Royal Palace Hotel.

Day Eight Depart
After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and be transferred to Juba International Airport for your onward flight.
