What does the price include?
The tour package price includes:
- Russian and Chinese visa invitations, support paperwork for Mongolian visa, full North Korean visa service
- all train tickets
- 3 star twin accommodation in Wigan, Brussels, Berlin, Warsaw, Moscow, Irkutsk, Olkhon Island, Ulan Bator, Beijing, Dandong and Pyongyang
- all transfers during tour
- tours in Wigan, London, Moscow, Olkhon Island, Mongolia, Beijing, Dandong and North Korea. All entry fees are included
- all meals in Olkhon Island, Terelj National Park, North Korea
- Lupine tour leader and local tour guides
What does the price not include?
The price does not include:
- flight back at the end of the tour from Beijing (flights are usually around £350-£400 on way to UK)
- travel insurance
- some meals
- tips for guides
- visa fees
Which visas do I need?
You will require visas for Russia, Mongolia, China and North Korea as well as a
Belarus transit visa.
We will providing you with all the
necessary support paperwork and instructions prior to you applying for your visas.
Visa fees vary between nationalities, please check your nearest Embassies
Are ATMS available?
ATMs are available in each city, including Irkutsk and Ulan Bator.
What are the trains like?
We will be using second class 4 berth cabins. Clean sheets and blankets are included.
There is a restaurant on each train that serves meals throughout the day. There
are also two toilets per carriage as well as sinks for washing. There is also a
constant supply of boiling water available to make your own cups of tea and
coffee, noodles etc.
Will we be accompanied by a
guide?
A Lupine tour leader will accompany the tour throughout with local guides
joining at different points along the journey.
Do you cater for vegetarians?
Yes vegetarians are catered for. Please inform us of your dietary needs
beforehand.
