Day 1

Arrival at Allama Iqbal International Airport. After welcome reception from our guide you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Afterwards we will visit Shalimar Gardens before heading to Waga border (Pakistan & India) to see the famous flag lowering ceremony between the two nations. Rest of evening at your own leisure.

Day 2

Today is a full day city tour of Lahore visiting Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Lahore museum and Wazir Khan mosque before taking a walk of the Old City walls and then down Mall Road to see the British Colonial buildings..

Day 3

Today we depart Lahore and drive 3 hours to Harappa to visit the ancient ruins of Harappan. Afterwards we drive a further 2 hours to Multan 'the city of shrines'.

Day 4

Today we take a full day tour of Multan including the mausoleum of Shah Shams Tabrez, Shah Rukhne Alam, and Bahauddinzakaria. We also visit the Townhall and local bazaar.

Day 5

In the morning to depart for Uch Sharif and visit Bibi Jawindi Tomb, Syed Jalaluddin Bukhari Tom mosque and Jahaniyan Jahangast Tomb. Afterwards we drive on to Bahawalpur where we will stay for the night. ‎

Day 6

Today we drive to Cholistan desert where we will visit Derawar Fort and take a camel safari. Drive back to Bahawalpur in the afternoon and visit the bazaar.

Day 7

Today we depart back to Lahore. In the evening we have time for shopping before having a final dinner on Food Street with the chance to eat traditional food with great views across onto Lahore.

Day 8

Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Extension option for 2020 tour (11-19 April 2020)

11th: For those taking this as an extension of our South Punjab tour, you can either arrange your own flight to Islamabad or we can arrange a land transfer for £25 per person. If you take this you will depart Lahore at 5am and drive to Islamabad. Visit Saidpur Old Village, Shah Faisal Mosque, Shakarparian hills and Pakistan monument. Overnight Islamabad. *for those taking only this tour, you should arrive in Islamabad before 10:00 on 11th or arrive earlier and we can arrange extra accommodation.

12th: Head along the Karakorum highway and stop off at Taxila en route. Afterwards on to Besham where we stay overnight.

13th: A long drive North through Chilas and towards Gilgit through breathtaking scenery. Overnight Gilgit.

14th: Explore Gilgit in the morning before driving along the Hunza river towards Karimibad in Hunza, Aka 'Shangri La'. Overnight Gilgit.

15th: Full day tour of Hunza valley.

16th: Full day excursion of Khunjerab Pass. Overnight Gilgit.

17th: Drive to Besham, stopping off en route at the Batura glacier. Overnight Besham

18th: Drive along the Karakorum highway back to Islamabad where we stay for the final night

19th: departure.
