A snapshot of these three countries offers something of a window into what makes East Africa such a beautiful, fascinating and hospitable part of the world. Vast rainforests, rugged awe-inspiring mountains, shimmering lakes and an abundance of wildlife, some of which is totally unique to these habitats. A trip across the D.R.C, Burundi and Rwanda gives you the opportunity to experience this and more.
*Please note, due to the current situation around Goma, these tours are not yet confirmed to go ahead. We will make a decision later, depending how the situation on the ground develops.
View DRC/Burundi/Rwanda toursOur three-country tour begins in Burundi, with a morning tour of the economic port hub city of Bujumbura, before visiting the Kagera waterfall, neighbouring villages and Rusizi National Park, a haven for hippo spotting. The Rwanda leg of the tour takes in Mount Kigali, the sobering Kigali genocide memorial, local markets and Gisenyi, the city that looks out over Lake Kivu. In the D.R.C, Kahuzi Biega National Park awaits, home to gorilla trekking (the D.R.C. is one of only three countries where you can see Eastern Mountain gorillas) and a host of other animal sightings that go hand in hand with this pristine habitat.
