The capital Bamako is home to gorgeous colonial-era architecture and museums that display this country’s decorated past. And, of course, the city of Timbuktu is found within Mali’s borders.

The tour starts in Bamako, where you can experience everything this small but fascinating capital offers, from stunning views to local markets. In addition, you will explore the city of Djenne*, a UNESCO world heritage site that is the twin sister of Timbuktu. Prepare to see mud-painting in action.
