Our main highlights tour starts by exploring the architecture, bustling markets, tea houses and shisha cafes of the nation’s capital, Tripoli, before taking in the spectacular Roman sites of Leptis Magna and Sabratha. From here, Sahara and sunsets over the Algerian border mountains await, as we visit centres of Libyan resistance, traditional crafts and classic desert architecture. No trip is complete without a spot of shopping Tripoli’s lively bazaars.
