Despite being one of Africa’s lesser visited countries, Equatorial Guinea is one of its most fascinating. The country consists of two separate parts, a mainland region close to the equator on the Atlantic west coast of central Africa and the island of Bioko, home to capital city Malabo. Equatorial Guinea is the only African country to use Spanish as its official language.
View Equatorial Guinea toursOur tour provides a mix of island and mainland exploring, giving you the opportunity to experience the country’s cultural and historical identity as well as its pristine beaches and relaxed way of life. The tour will take in Bata, the country’s largest city, the decaying colonial Spanish ruins nestled in the jungles surrounding the remote town of Kogo and a chance to sleep under the stars on Corisco Island. Elsewhere, expect to see a captivating mix of scenery, including cacao and coffee plantations, idyllic island panoramas and the lush rainforest of Ureka, often referred to as ‘the wettest place in Africa.’
