Rail Journeys

At Lupine Travel we’re big rail fans. We’ve always felt that travelling by train is one of the most rewarding ways to see the world and two of the first three tours we offered upon launching in 2008 were via train: the Trans Mongolian and North Korea. In 2019 we launched longer train journeys, starting in Wigan, England (where Lupine Travel is based). The first was to Pyongyang and the second was to Iraq.

We now offer a continent-spanning, twenty-night train adventure across a large part of the world. Prepare for the most unforgettable trip of your life. Starting in Wigan, this epic adventure journeys through over a dozen cities from Paris to the Kurdish capital of Diyarbakir in Turkey. 

As part of our commitment to being a more environmentally sustainable travel company, we aim to increase train usage, where possible, as a major mode of transport in our tours over the coming years. There’s few better ways to see the landscapes of a country sustainably than through the window of a train, and a train carriage has a unique ability to connect people on a human level like nowhere else.
