Tour leader: Sascha
• Arrive into the capital city of Antananarivo and transfer to your hotel.
• Depending on your arrival time, there may also be chance to join us on a short tour of the city, visiting the old train station and Analakely Market.
• After breakfast we will start our 135km journey to the Andasibe rainforest in the East of Madagascar .
• En route we will stop in the city of Moramanga.
• In the evening we'll take a night safari to hopefully see frogs, chameleon and mouse lemurs.
•Today we will trek inside the rain forest and explore Analamazaotra National Park.
• Here we will track the Indri-Indri; the largest lemur in the world, before going in search for the amazing Giraffe Weevil.
• In the afternoon we will visit Vakoana Reserve; also known as the island of lemurs.
• Early morning we will set off to drive to Antsirabe; the capital of the Vakinankaratr region.
• Here we will visit the aluminum foundry and pottery village before travelling around the city by rickshaws.
• We will visit the Zebu Horn before starting our journey to Ranomafana National Park, a lush rainforest known for its hot water springs.
• En route we'll visit Ambositra; a city known for it's wood carvings and artisan markets.
• Today we will being exploring one of Madagascar's most biodiverse parks.
• Home of the golden bamboo lemur, there are also many other species of lemurs, birds and chameleons to spot here.
• We will finish the day with a nightime wildlife trek.
• Today we will head to Isalo National Park, stopping en route at Ambalavao and Anja private reserve.
• Enjoy the picturesque landscapes along the way as we pass Porte du Sud and the Plateau of Horombe.
•Arrive into Ranohira and then descend to our final destination for the day, Isalo National Park.
• A tour of Isalo NP today in search of the red-fronted brown lemur, the ring-tailed lemur, and the distinctive Verreaux’s Sifaka.
• In the early evening, a chance to view the sunset at the 'Window of Isalo'.
• A scenic journey today as we head from Ranohira to Tuléar.
• Stop at the Arboretum of Antsokay for a chance to see some of Madagascar's endemic plant species
• Visit the Reniala Reserve to see the iconic baobab forest.
• We will spend 3 days in the laidback Southern region of Ifaty.
• Spend your time leisurely walking around fishing villages or relaxing on the beaches.
• Spend your time relaxing or take an optional activity such as whale watching or further exploration of the baobob forest.
• Another chance to relax today or take part in activities on the beach such as snorkelling or swimming.
• Transfer to the airport for our flight back to Antananaviro.
• Head to our hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
• Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
