Rail Journeys

At Lupine Travel, we've always felt that travelling by train is one of the most rewarding ways to see the world. Two of the first three tours we offered upon launching Lupine in 2008 were via train: the Trans Mongolian and North Korea.

In 2019 we launched longer train journeys, starting at Wigan, England, where Lupine Travel is based. The first was to Pyongyang and the second to Iraq.

The tour we offer now is a twenty-night train adventure across a large part of the world. Prepare for the most unforgettable trip of your life. This epic adventure spans over a dozen cities from Paris to the Kurdish capital of Diyarbakir in Turkey.

In our push to become more sustainable, we aim to increase the percentage of our tours that use trains as a major mode of transport over the coming years. Rail journeys are the most authentic way to travel, as it is better for the environment and the best way to build a true sense of connection while travelling.
