Itinerary

1. Day One

   Arrive in Niamey

   Arrive in Niamey, Niger, where you will be met by your English-speaking guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the evening can be spent resting.

   Meals: Dinner
   Accommodation: Homeland Hotel or similar

2. Day Two

   Tour of Niamey

   Today you will have a tour of Niamey, including a visit to the old town, animal market, traditional herbalist market and the fascinating recycling market. Next, you will head to the National Museum of Niger and the Grand Mosque of Niamey.

   In the afternoon, you will take a boat trip along the Niger River on a traditional wooden pirogue, where you will visit a local fishermen’s village and observe hippos in their natural habitat.

   Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

3. Day Three

   Tour Ends

   After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward destination.
