How do I get to Pitcairn Island?: You will need to fly into Papeete, Tahiti, then from there to Mangareva in the Gambier Islands. Once you arrive in Mangareva, you will then board the ship which is a working freighter. You will then spend two nights at sea before arriving at Pitcairn Island.

Do I need a visa for Pitcairn Island?: Most nationalities can enter Pitcairn Island visa-free for up to 14 days. Please check to ensure this applies to you.

Can I book a single room?: It is not possible to upgrade to a single room on the MV Silver Supporter ship as the cabins are all on a twin share basis. However, during your stay in Pitcairn, you will be in homestays which will be single rooms.

Do I require travel insurance?: Health insurance is obligatory for anyone booking a tour with us. Please contact us for details of providers who cover our destinations. We strongly advise to take out a comprehensive policy that will also fully cover you for cancellations due to illness, lost luggage etc. You should take out your insurance policy as soon as you book the trip with us.

Do I need vaccinations?: No compulsory vaccinations are required. Insect repellent will be necessary as there are mosquitoes and other biting insects. You should also seek advice from a health professional - GP, nurse, pharmacist or travel clinic - ideally 8 weeks prior to travel. Further advice can be found here

When will I receive my tour information pack?: The information pack will follow approximately 4 weeks prior to departure.
